1.1.3 Hiberce ("the Company”) is located at www.hiberce.com ("the Website”). For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise specified, all references to Hiberce include the Company and the Website.

1.1.4 The Company’s Website is an Ecommerce marketplace which allows sellers to list their products, services, events and getaways (accommodation). Upon listing the services, sellers are able to market their services and products (as the case may be) to their target audiences and manage their business.

1.1.5 Your privacy on the Internet is of the utmost importance to us. We will never share your personal information with any third party, but because we may gather certain types of information about our users, we feel you should fully understand our policy and the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information. 1.6.1 This website is not directed at children who are under the age of 13 and we strictly do not collect data from persons under the age of 13. The Site is directed at a general audience.

1.6.2 To be able to create an account with, use the full facilities of, and buy or sell any product, service, event or getaway listing on Hiberce, you must be at least 18 years of age. If we gain any knowledge of an account that was created by any person(s) under the age of 18, the account will be terminated and any information associated with said account will be deleted.

1.6.3 In some countries or states/ provinces, the age of majority might be higher than 18 years of age and by using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your country or state/ province of residence.

1.10 HOW LONG WE STORE YOUR INFORMATION

i) Most of the information regarding your buyer and sellers account will be stored for as long as the account is active. Much of this information is kept at your discretion and can be modified or deleted by you. If you choose to delete your account permanently, all personal information related to that account will be deleted (we may keep statistical or analytical data).

ii) Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. (Purchase and order history are kept for your own records).

iii) Certain interactions or past transactions may be kept for our internal financial records and for compliance reasons, even after an account is deactivated.

iv) Data related to linked social media last only as long as the social networks are linked to your account.


1.11 SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION


i) We care about your personal and sensitive information and there are security measures in place to reasonably protect your Personal and Financial information. To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

ii) If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL). This is powered by Thawte, Inc. Al though no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

iii) All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.


1.12 YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION


i) Your personal information is yours and you reserve the right to access, modify or remove the information that you provided to us. You can do this on both your buyer’s and sellers profile. Your financial information can also updated or removed by you.

ii) Marketing communication and notifications through emails are always under your control and you can unsubscribe from emails sent to you. Account and security related information may be sent to you for as long as your account is active or you have explicitly notified us to be removed from marketing campaigns.

iii) Though we do require certain information from you for your account to function properly, much of the information that you provide is optional and both required and optional personal information can be accessed, modified or removed by you.

iv) When information is mandatory and required from you, this information is protected by reasonable security measures and only disclosed to necessary parties (such as your shipping address made available to a courier).

i) When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
